What the trial form collects and why
The trial forms (ASH ELDAS and the ASH Engineering Design Suite) ask for your name and e-mail address (a personal address is fine), for your consent, and optionally for your company, position, country and phone number. We use them to issue and e-mail your 30-day trial code and to contact you about the trial. Your name and e-mail address are written into the trial code itself, which stays in your browser once you activate it. Each registration also sends a short notice (the details you entered, the code reference and the expiry date) to ASH so that we can follow up on the trial; the optional details go only into that notice.
Who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the registration function. Its key-value store holds only salted SHA-256 hashes: of your e-mail address for 30 days (to allow one trial per address) and of your IP address for 2 days (to limit requests per network). No plaintext e-mail address or IP address is stored there.
- Resend sends the e-mail with your trial code and the registration notice to ASH.
- Google Fonts supplies the two web fonts used by these pages and by ELDAS; loading them sends your IP address to Google.
Your project data
Your project never leaves your computer: ELDAS keeps projects in this browser's storage and in the project files you save. Nothing you enter in ELDAS is uploaded to ASH. When the trial ends, ELDAS deletes the trial licence and the work stored in the browser — save your project file before then.
Your rights
To see, correct or erase the data ASH holds about you, or to withdraw your consent, e-mail [email protected] with the address you registered.
